Marketing Subcommittee

This year, we want turnout at WiB events to be higher than ever, especially at our flagship event, the Women in Business Conference, so we want to build up a strong marketing subcommittee who will help us achieve this goal

Responsibilities

  • Produce marketing material eg flyers, banners for our events
  • Manage the Facebook page, website, Instagram and social media campaigns including Women of LSE
  • Photography of key on-campus events

Requirements

We're looking for creative and responsive individuals who are passionate about graphic design, managing social media, and working collaboratively to generate new, innovative marketing ideas

Events Subcommittee

This year, we are hosting a series of exciting and educational events for our members.  This includes social events, sponsor events and our flagship event, the Women in Business Conference. The Events team plays a key role in securing venues, catering and activities for these.

Responsibilities

  • Attend events ensuring they run smoothly
  • Plan social events for our members
  • Liaise with the External Partnerships team to execute our sponsors' desired events

Requirements

We're looking for committed, organised and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about planning and running events to maximise value for WiB members. Our events run all throughout the year, so this is a challenging yet highly rewarding role.

External Partnerships Subcommittee

External Partnerships is responsible for managing all aspects of sponsorship including responding to sponsor requests and welcoming sponsors representatives at our events

Responsibilities

  • Relationship-maintenance; act as the main point of contact between sponsors and the committee
  • Attend events to meet and greet sponsor representatives
  • Manage logistical details of sponsor-related events
