Women in Business Conference

The Women in Business Conference (WiBCon) is our flagship event held in Michaelmas Term; since 2013, we’ve brought together students and professionals to share their insights into the world of work, and their experiences as females in traditionally male-dominated industries such as banking, consultancy and technology.

The event comprises interactive panels, Q&As, skills workshops and networking sessions with leading female representatives from our sponsors and other major organisations supporting the movement towards gender equality in the professional sphere.

The main purposes of this event are to give students exclusive insight into competitive industries, and provide them with a platform to connect with experienced professionals.

We’ve had a range of keynote speakers share their advice with us; from Sophie Chandauka, Executive Director and Chief Administrative Officer (EMEA) at Morgan Stanley, who has served on the Board of Trustees of Sentebale (the charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso); to Shaheen Sayed, Managing Director in Accenture’s Technology division and the Lead of Accenture’s graduate consulting group. In the past few years, representatives from Bank of America, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Lazard, Credo, Deloitte, BCG and more have all taken part in WiBCon panels, and we can’t wait to hear from the esteemed speakers at WiBCon 2018 this November.
